Community Participation

Rapid7 is in the process of building an activity community. Currently, there are many ways to contribute:

  • Asking and answering questions on the community IRC channel (irc.freenode.net:#rapid7)
  • Asking and answering questions on the community mailing list (Sign up here)
  • Designing and recording tutorials of NeXpose community edition (If you make one, we will post it here)
  • Sending suggestions on things we could do better to the Wiki Administrators
  • Posting content to the wiki (See Below)

How to become an approved wiki contributor and be the envy of all of your friends

We are working on a good process for insuring that quality contributions to the Wiki.

Currently, if you would like write access to the Wiki, please sign up for a Redmine account and submit a couple patches/suggestions to the Wiki to will A_T_ rapid7.com. We'll review the content, post it online, and approve your account. In addition, if you become an active community participant in the mailing lists, IRC channel, etc. we'll get to know you and just approve you.
