why nexpose stay in pending status .
i only tell nexpose to scan one IP address .
BTW, i notice nexpose connected to so many host , i don't know what it was doing .

It depends on a lot of things. How long has it been pending for?
When it takes long I usually check a log "Download log" in GUI (on your printscreen). Then I usually know what is going on. I can see what it is doing and why it is waiting for. Some checks can be pretty time consuming (especially web spidering and policies).
Policies must be carefully selected, suitable access rights must be available for authenticated scans. When it is not configured carefully, one simple WiFi/VDSL modem can take a whole day.
Once, I made a mistake when I was setting a range of scanned assets, and it was scanning hundreds of unused IP's. So, I used that log and I immediately realized what was wrong, that it is waiting for timeouts.
I usually scan devices with more scan cycles, I start with a simple scan then I am adding more and more checks. It is important to understand what scanned assets contain, incl. OS, apps etc.
I guess, that your problem is in a configuration.

i check the scan log , Nexpose stock on nmap scan stage for a every long time , (60--70% of the whole duration ).
then i changed the scan template , service-discovery -->TCP scanning --> ports to scan-->select well-know-port number. i used to select : "all possible port".
and restart the scan , this time , it spend a little time on pending status , but few vulnerabilities were found .
is there a better solutions ?
